My first ever deodorant which is way back in high school was.. hehehe.. TAWAS or Alum Powder in English. Don't laugh, that was the time when I wasn't very particular with my toiletries and I just use what ever my mom asks me to use. Tawas is indeed effective and does not cause underarm darkening, the only con is its grainy texture which makes it uncomfortable to use.
So after sticking up with tawas for sometime i started using other Deo, my underarms has been acquainted with a variety of deodorants. heh. During college i remebered using Milku as recommeded by a classmate and then Skin White Powder Deo until I met Dove.

Dove Deodorant Stick is my favorite of them all.I tried almost every scent and they're all equally good. Scent is mild and doesn't cause any irritation to my Kili-kili.
But recently I was lured by a recommendation from a relative to use Feelin Fresh by Avon, smells fresh.. okay, kind of sticky and does not dry easily and after two days of using the product, it caused irritation to the outer part of my kili-kili so I bitterly stopped using it. Bitter for my money.
So I switched back to my ever so good Dove Deo Stick. And then again I was fooled by an advertising of Toni Gonzaga's super smooth underarm for Belo Essentials Whitening Deodorant. Boo! So now i learned my lesson. Only Dove lives up to its promise of if not whitening at least not causing my underarm to darken. Forever a Dove Deo girl. :)
